Candidates
I have sent a copy of my CV to you and I can see vacancies on your website that I think I am suitable for. Why have you not called me?
This could be for any number of reasons. Sometimes clients are specific about industry sector experience. For example, they might have told us that they only want to see candidates with a certain amount of nursery industry experience. It could also be based on the information we hold on you, whereby we don’t think that you would be interested in the role. For example, if you told us that you were looking for a minimum of £40,000 and the vacancy is paying £25,000. If in doubt then please call and we can double check. Rest assured if we can put you forward for a position, we will do so!
How do I apply for a job with M and A Recruitment?

I have been put forward for a job vacancy by another agency and want to apply for another job vacancy through you, is this possible?
Yes, please ensure you inform your recruiter in being honest and transparent.
Do recruitment agencies charge candidates?
No, recruitment agencies do not usually charge candidates, but charge the employer a fee.
Clients
Do I need to pay a fee for a job search?
Our clients do not need to pay any fees until a candidate is successfully placed. Contact us and we can explain our simple terms and conditions.
Will you send my CV to clients without contacting me?
No! We only present your details to a client after we have spoken to you about the vacancy, the company and received your permission to do so.
Do you provide temp staf?
Yes we can speak to us about your requirements and see if we can help.
How do you find candidates?
This can vary as we have paid job boards that we invest into to receive top applications, we receive referrals’ though networking. We can sometimes headhunt specific candidates that match the requirements our client is looking for.
How long does the recruitment process take?
This can depend on many factors depending on the talent available on the market. How niche the skills and experience are, the location of the role, the level of role such as a director level role can take 3 – 6 months. Also the interview process how long it is will also affect the time to take you to hire the candidate for your role.
