Deputy Nursery Manager

We are currently looking for Deputy Nursery Manager to work full time. We have multiple sites and been established over 30 years.

Educated: A minimum Level 3 Childcare Qualification.

Experienced: To have a minimum of three years of experience leading other colleagues in a team. You will have a broad understanding of how to implement your knowledge of EYFS framework and deliver the highest quality development experience to our children. Therefore knowledge of OFSTED standards and experience of inspections is a must.

Accountability: You will be the primary support of our Manager. You will also take responsibility in the managers absence and lead your entire team. Primarily focusing on the implementation and of all setting policies and safeguarding practices. You will be the checks, balances, and point of reference for all staff along with ensuring that excellent standards are continuously met for the exceptional development of the children. You will also take over for the Manager when they are not at the setting.

Team Oriented: Ability to Lead and Inspire a team along with the ability to work well together and support career growth for your team and yourself. You must have the ability to convey the managers message effectively to the whole team.

Visionary: Partner with the manager to recruit and attract qualified new team members. Also work with the entire team to create projects and programs for the children.

Passionate: Deliver clear communication along with leading tours and establish a warm welcome to new families. You will be a support group to these new families and assist them in developing their child’s learning skills along with transitions to the next phases of their development.

Dedicated: Have a personable approach to engaging with parents for all their curriculum and child development experience. To have experience of implementing core policies, such as Safeguarding, Equality and Health and Safety.

Go Getter: Respond diligently and calmly to unexpected circumstances and emergencies by focussing on maintaining a solution oriented mindset.

Creative: Enjoys a vast amount of imagination, pretend play, and laughing. You will be someone very special to many children and impact their lives in a meaningful way.
